Induction to sleep

Whether you are a beginner and not used to hypnotize you might question yourself how to start hypnotizing people. There are many different techniques to bring your client into hypnotic sleep.

The first method I will clarify to you is called fixation method. This induction is one of the oldest known possibilities of hypnotizing people. It was used by Egyptian to let their subjects fall into hypnotic sleep. The client has to sit or lie in a very relaxed position and has to concentrate on a shiny thing. This thing should be placed 20 to 30 centimetres above the clients head to let his eyes become tired much quicker. This weariness can be incresed by suggestions like „your eyelids are becomming heavier and heavier and will close now“.

When the eyelids are closing more often you can start giving the following suggestion:

„Yes, your eyelids are fitting heavier and heavier. When your eyelids are closed they will stay closed. It feels as whether they where sticked together.“

After the eyelids are closed you can continue giving suggestions to deepen the trance:

„All your muscles are increasingly relaxed. You are getting increasingly tired and fall into hypnotic sleep. Now I will count from one to ten and with each count your will fall even deeper into trance. One, you are sinking deeper. Two deeper and deeper. Three, nothing can hold you back now.

Four, you are sinking deeper and deeper in this hypnotic sleep. Six, your whole body relaxes increasingly. Seven, you can delight in your inner peace. Eight, Now you are sinking deeper and deeper and the door to your subconscious intellect opens now. Nine, your subconscious intellect will react to my suggestion even better. Then, Now you are in a deep hypnotic sleep. Every moment will deepen your state of trance automatically.

This induction is not the fastest induction but it has a very high sucess rate and can be used by beginners very simple.

This whole process takes just a few minutes and is much quicker then waiting for falling asleep. You can use it wherever you want to sleep very quick: on a bus trip, an air trip or to fall asleep at night.
