Cat-hypnosis : does hypnosis work ?
I was researching something for school approximately hypnosis and I chose to pull a prank on my cat just out of whim thinking I could hypnotize him. So what happened was I took him to my lap and I got a nice shiny pendant that I got off the internet that claims to have hypnotic effects. I tried to place my cat in a hypnotic trance by swaying the pendant back and forth but unfortunately my cat kept trying to seize the shiny trinket. I kept on telling him it’s not a toy but really, I must be crazy trying this out on a cat right? (LOL) I could just try doing this to my 5-year ancient niece, that way whether anything happens, I could just deny it. (Evil smile)
Kidding aside, I hypnotized my cat in useless because unfortunately, he just does not have the IQ nor the attention span to be hypnotized and animals are just not open to suggestions since they are ran by instincts which is different for us humans. To be honest, I was a bit disappointed; I kind of hoped I could have made some sort of scientific breakthrough or something by being the first to hypnotize an animal or to place them in a hypnotized induced trance. (ROFL) My sister is coming over soon to drop off my niece; perhaps I should really try it on to her. As they say, hypnosis can only work on people who are more open to it and who have the IQ to know. So I’m certain my smart and harmless niece would really be able to help me this time with my experiment. But don’t worry I won’t hypnotize her into thinking she’s the cat or anything I reckon there’s a law against that. (LOL)
After I passed all my research on hypnotism, I hope to etch into every reader’s intellect that there is always an alternative way out there like hypnosis relaxation which can help in their problems. There are many free online self-hypnosis websites out there and there’s even a hypnosis video in youtube so it shouldn’t be tough to try it out.
